About me, the photographer...

I love photography, and I love weddings, so what better way to indulge both passions than by being a wedding photographer.  I've enjoyed photography since I was very young, and nothing brings me more pleasure than being out and about with my camera.  I'm always trying different types of photography and it's important to me that I push myself to keep learning.  To be a wedding photographer, I couldn't ask for a more enjoyable job - in fact it's so good, it doesn't feel like a job.  It's where my passion lies and I love it!

I want to help you create everlasting memories of your wedding day, by capturing all those special and important moments.  With my relaxed and friendly manner, my aim is to make the experience as enjoyable and fun as possible.  We'll talk a lot before the day, getting to know each other so I can understand all your requirements.  I want you to feel like you are more than just clients to me, that you'll feel comfortable and we'll be making new friends.  There's nothing more enjoyable for me than chatting about weddings, so you'll be encouraged to keep in touch.  We'll have a pre-wedding shoot, so if you're not used to having your photograph taken and are a little nervous, hopefully this experience will help you relax and have fun at the same time.

A few quirks...

Apart from photography, here are a few things you might like to know about me...

I live with my eternally patient husband Dominic, and our two cats (Rosie and Charlie), providing unconditional love and affection.

I adore chocolate and if it comes from Switzerland, even better.

Speaking of Switzerland, we had the opportunity to live in Geneva for a few years.  I love it there and need very little excuse to visit.  I was also lucky enough to photograph a number of weddings there - what an amazing backdrop for gorgeous wedding photography!

I'm an unashamed Spurs supporter and when time allows you'll find me cheering them on at White Hart Lane.

I'm passionately addicted to all things Tudor, Plantagenet and War of the Roses.  I think I feel safer living in the 20th century, but if you gave me the opportunity to dress up in one of those amazing dresses and pretend for a few hours, I'd grab it!  Update - I now have my own gown and I'll be "Tudoring" with the girls this year.

I'm a member of the Royal Photographic Society and recently obtained my Licentiate distinction.  I'm also a member of the Society of Wedding & Portrait Photographers.
